A banda inglesa foi considerada a autora da melhor versão de sempre, graças a "Feeling Good", original de Nina Simone.
Os Muse impuseram-se assim à forte concorrência de Johnny Cash, com "Hurt" (dos Nine Inch Nails), Jeff Buckley com "Hallelujah" (de Leonard Cohen) ou Nirvana com "Where Did You Sleep Last Night", um clássico da folk americana.
A lista das piores versões de sempre é encabeçada por "I Love Rock'n'Roll", original dos The Arrows, popularizado por Joan Jett e gravado por Britney Spears. Os Take That e a sua leitura de "Smells Like Teen Spirit", dos Nirvana, ou os Limp Bizkit com "Faith", de George Michael, são outros dos protagonistas da lista das piores versões.
